One Of These Words Is Not Like Others

Often when people are discussing a topic of business, they will mistakenly use words that are similar, but not interchangeable. Recently, I made this mistake in conversation, and it was drawn to my attention. Here are a few important examples to consider:
1\\ Saving vs. Investing
Saving is not the same as investing, here’s why: When you consider your savings account, you are earning approximately 3% interest. But when you consider the variety of fees the bank charges you, you are not making money from the bank anymore, rather you are paying the bank. Saving is choosing to store your money somewhere, where although it is safe from investment risks, you do not earn any money from it. (savings account, piggy bank, shoebox under your bed, etc.)
