How Does This Market Contraction Compare to the Past

I’m not belittling the current market situation, but generally the market trends up, even if it’s just a few percent points.
Many people are demanding the government do something about the current circumstances, but if you take a look at this handy little table you’ll see that the previous year (1931) that reigned champion for losses didn’t last. In 1931, there was a 50% drop in the S&P (market average) but only 2 years later, there was one of the highest gaining years. In 1933, the market climbed a astounding 60%!

We all know that Christmas time is an exceptionally expensive time of year, and most of us enjoy giving to our family, parents, uncles, aunts, their children and some friends. However, the receipts can rack up quickly and once Christmas is over, slap you with a massive VISA bill.

Homemade cookies, squares, pies, cakes, and other delicious treats are often very well received and goes in line with the saying, “If I can’t eat it or wear it, I don’t want it.” Just stay away from the fruitcake, unless you’re pulling some practical joke.
